Message of the Dean of KTI on the occasion of the 36th anniversary of Anfal and Kurdistan Genocide

We commemorate the 36th anniversary of Anfal and Kurdistan Genocide

The Anfal Campaign, now known as the Kurdish genocide, is not only in memory of a nation, but the whole world knows the fact that the genocide of Kurdistan was carried out in several stages, with more than 182,000 people alive by being buried. Today, 36 years have passed since the Anfal tragedy, and April 14, 1988, because the Anfal campaign reached a terrible level and covered most of the regions of Kurdistan, is called Anfal Day and every year on that day is commemorated with different ceremonies. We hope that this anniversary will become the foundation of the unity of the Kurdish people and the end of all the economic and political crises facing the Kurdistan Regional Government.
