That’s such an incredible achievement for the Kurdistan Technical Institute (KTI)! It’s amazing to see that KTI is the only institute in Iraq and the Kurdistan region to be ranked in both Webometrics and the AD Scientific Index. This really speaks volumes about the hard work, dedication, and innovation happening at KTI.

Webometrics looks at how institutions are making an impact online, while the AD Scientific Index focuses on research and academic contributions. For KTI to stand out in both areas shows how much they’re pushing boundaries in education and research, not just locally but on a global scale.

This kind of recognition isn’t just a win for KTI, it’s a win for the entire region. It highlights the potential of higher education in Iraq and Kurdistan and sets an inspiring example for other institutions. 2025

• THE Awards Arab World 2025 (International Strategy),  KTI is the first academic institute in Kurdistan and even Iraq to be listed and nominated for these awards.
• 1501+ in Impact Ranking (Times Higher Education) among 2526 Universities and Institutions in 130 Countries; 61 among 250 universities in Iraq; 12th in KRG among 60 Universities. It is worth mentioning KTI is the only and only Institute has been ranked in the Iraq. 
• 239 in MENA region among 322 universities and institutions in 22 countries(3rd place in Iraq), in the Sciamago foundation rankings for centers and research fields affiliated with Elsevier Institute. 
• 30  in KRG and 15^th among Private KRG universities and Institutes) in the Webometrics Ranking of World Universities
