Thursday, January 8, 2026 The Council of Kurdistan Technical Institute and Raperin Technical and Vocational Institute held a meeting chaired by Prof. Rebwar Mullah Nabi, Dean of Kurdistan Technical Institute; Salah Babakr, Dean of Raperin Technical and Vocational Institute.
The meeting was devoted to discussing a joint strategic framework, aimed at enhancing the scientific standards and quality of education at both institutions.
The following points were emphasized in the meeting:
• Curriculum Updates: Collaborative work between staff from both institutes to revise and enrich course content, in a way that takes into account the latest labor market needs and global standards.
• Capacity development of staff: providing joint opportunities for capacity development of academic staff, through exchange of experience and conduct of joint scientific research.
• Joint scientific activities: Organize various scientific activities, such as workshops, seminars and conferences, in order to create an active scientific environment and strengthen relations between departments.
It was announced that this new step is a sign of the commitment of both institutes to the process of quality assurance (Quality Assurance) and trying to ensure that their graduates enter the labor market with the best scientific and professional quality.
A special committee is scheduled to be formed in the near future to implement the points of this meeting.
