In the university rankings, only the Kurdistan Technical Institute is visible.

With the continuous support and supervision of its leadership, and the unwavering dedication of its faculty and staff, the Kurdistan Technical Institute continues to achieve significant scientific and administrative milestones. As always, the institute has secured a place among local and international universities in the Webometrics Ranking for July 2025. Out of 30 universities in the Kurdistan Region, KTI has proudly secured the 14th position, making it the first and only institute in Kurdistan and Iraq to compete alongside local and international universities.

Furthermore, we are pleased to have advanced 2,000 places in the global rankings a testament to the institute’s continuous progress and commitment to excellence. In addition, a remarkable number of our instructors contribute internationally as researchers and reviewers, and the institute will soon launch its own scientific journal.
